The Power of Work
We believe that work has the power to transform lives by building self-confidence, independence, creativity, trust and friendship. Everyone deserves a chance to have these.
Goodwill provides that chance.
Our Heritage
• For more than 100 years, Goodwill has been helping people find jobs, support their families, and feel the satisfaction that comes from earning a paycheck.
– Founded in 1902 in Boston by Rev. Edgar J. Helms, a Methodist minister and early social innovator.
– Dr. Helms' vision set an early course for what today has become a $3.2 billion nonprofit organization.
When you donate to Goodwill, you help us fulfill our mission.
