We pursue the God who passionately pursues a lost world; we do this by connecting with one another, through worship, by the Word, to the world.

Ministry Opportunity: Bible Island SOSBible Island is sending out an SOS—serve one service per month in your child’s classroom. We have dedicated servants who are faithful to share the love of Christ and to teach God’s truth to children every week. When you serve just one service per month in your child’s classroom, you help us ensure all classes are open to full capacity each week. We guarantee you’ll have as much fun as the children. Sign up to serve one service when you pick up your child today in Bible Island.

Please avoid unnecessary movement during the service. If you must leave during the service, the ushers will ask you not to re-enter the sanctuary. Children fourth grade and below are required to attend Bible Island or sit with their parents in the family room. Bags/backpacks are subject to inspection. Sanctuary doors open at 5:30 pm on Saturdays and Wednesdays.

Join us for a time of worship and a study in God’s Word as we learn what it means to experience true freedom concerning our thoughts and emotions. This event is free, but registration at sheabq.org is required.

The Wake Up TourToday, students face more problems and distractions than ever before: drug abuse, depression, broken families, self-harm, and suicide. Ryan Ries inspires and empowers young people to stand together and make a difference. Evangelism Training ClassIf you’re nervous about sharing your faith, don’t know how to, have questions, or just want to be further equipped and more involved in Calvary’s evangelistic ministries, then this class is for you. This free, four-week series starts on Sunday, November 5, at 1 pm in the Hub.

To join a group, visit calvaryabq.org/connect.

Connect Groups are our intentional approach to community and discipleship within the church. These home-based community groups are a place to learn how to apply the Bible, build friendships, and serve—a place to live life together.

Caring TreeThe Caring Tree is an evangelical outreach that provides Christmas gifts to the residents of local nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Each year since 1991, the outreach delivers an average of 600 gifts, and we need your help to reach our goal. By selecting the name of a resident from the Caring Tree in Solomon’s Porch and blessing them with a special gift and prayer, you can share the love of Christ this Christmas. Please return your gifts by Sunday, November 26.

It’s Easy to Lead or Host a Connect GroupDo you want to see lives transformed through authentic, gospel-centered community? Come discover how easy it is to become a Connect Group leader or host. Learn more about this opportunity when you join us for a crash-course training on Sunday, November 12, at 9:45 am in room H2.

Visiting Missionary: Kathy ScottAs a body of believers, we want to en-courage our brothers and sisters who are bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to people around the world. Calvary missionary Kathy Scott is a physical therapist and treats patients at the ABC Health Foundation in Tirana, Albania. Stop by the kiosk this week-end to meet Kathy and learn more about her ministry and how you can be involved.

Prayer The family of Christopher Martinez, who passed away on October 17. The family of Nathan Hallett, who passed away on October 21.
