"Hello Vanessa, Just a quick note to say thankyou for a terrific weekend and how much we ad-mired your lovely facilities at ESB. Giddeon thoroughly enjoyed being in such a big, airy stable ( he is usually sour after 2 days). A special mention to Sam, who couldn't have been more helpful over the weekend. Best wishes for the furure, you will have a world class facility in place at com-pletion, Cheers, Liz and Georgette Turner." "Congratulations, Vanessa. It was a fantastic weekend!" Sue Foley "Congratulations Vanessa on a great weekend. We haven’t seen your place for over 5 years now so it was great to see your dreams coming to fruition. You can tell the complex has been laid out by a horse person – didn’t have far to walk anywhere and the ‘stadium’ has come up really well. Bronwyn, Murray and Clare Wheatley. PS Clare came 7th on a relatively new horse and had a terrific time (clear) on the cross country!)" "Dear Vanessa, Just wanted to say I read the report on horse deals re; state pony club champs, congratulations, it looked like an awesome event and the weather also looked perfect. Leesa J"

ESB has been developing interna-tional quality performance horses for over 25 years and takes great pride in the selection and develop-ment of the horses in order for rid-ers to achieve their goals.

All the ESB breeding stock have been genetically selected for their temperament, movement, confor-mation, soundness, trainability, athleticism, confidence and jump-ing ability.

They have had space to grow and develop, good nutrition, regular worming, gentle handling and pro-fessional training to give them the best possible foundation and start in life.

Now they just need the right rider to maximise their potential and to realise their true qualities and what they were bred for. Making sure that this happens is the most im-portant aspect for us and therefore the relationship is far more im-portant than the sale.

We have consistently produced in-ternational quality eventers includ-ing the sire of Olympic silver med-al winner, Kirby Park Irish Jester; and 4* horses such as ESB Irish En-deavour (Will Enzinger AUS), ESB Irish Doctrine (Ashley Leith USA), ESB Irish Fiddle (Alex Hua Tian CHINA), Kirby Park Irish Jamie (Cammy O'Rourke AUS), ESB Irish Eclipse (Dale FLynn AUS) and many, many others.

We may have or know of a few horses which may suit you, so please feel free to CLICK HERE to complete our Inquiry Form so that we know exactly what you are looking for.

We would be happy to help you source the right horse which is suit-able for your needs. There are lots of additional benefits with buying an ESB such as ongoing support, access to the facilities and involve-ment in the Team ESB concept should you wish.

The best option to do justice to you, the horses and us, is to come up for a visit because the relation-ship is more important to us than the sale.

We have accommodation available in The Bush Courtyard and there is a also a map with directions to find us on www.goldfieldstheproperty.com

We hope we can help you to find your a special horse and we look forward to hearing from you.

All the best, Vanessa

Team ESB

The Mission: ‘To create a united and collaborative approach to foster the

personal and professional development of event riders; to promote the

sport of eventing; and to encourage sporting excellence and athletic

achievement in both the horses and the riders.’

The Goals :

to create opportunities which will maximise the potential of both riders and horses

to encourage a mentoring system between all members, enhancing horsemanship skills and personal growth and development

to provide professional and personal support to all members to develop training programs and provide educational resources to

further the knowledge levels, skills and expertise of the team to promote and develop the sport of eventing internationally to encourage global contacts and friendships to provide first class, international exposure for the sponsor to maximise the return on investment for the owner to increase the awareness of the ESB operation to reward all members of the team with excitement, information,

fun, friendships and entertainment

Page 25: Gold Fields Annual

Eventing horses which can meet the challenging demands

of our sport and be competitive on an international scale

are hard to find. The solution is to purpose breed, raise

and train them to develop the specific characteristics re-

quired. However, the commitment, the risks, the losses,

the escalating costs and the multitude of management

options to do so mean that the ideal horses are demand-

ing higher prices.

In addition to this, the serious event rider invests most of

their time and finances into training and competing, leav-

ing very little of their budget left to actually purchase a

quality horse. It is imperative if they are to achieve their

goals that their investment of time and money is with the

right horse.

Since 1986, Equine Sports Breading (ESB) has been breed-

ing and training horses specifically for international event-

ing, assisting the endeavours of event riders to maximise

their potential and that of the ESB horses as well as to de-

velop the sport.

Team ESB is a joint venture between the breeder (ESB),

event riders worldwide, owners, sponsors and a team of

supporters both personal and professional, such as farri-

ers, vets, physios, insurance, marketing, PR and transport

companies.

The concept is pioneering and a world first on a private

level. It provides a unique combination of skills, resources

and expertise; as well as superior marketing, sponsorship

and business management to ensure that the interests of

all parties are catered for effectively and professionally.
