2. CAMERA WORK At the beginning of the video it starts with a long shot ofpeople walking thorough a forest. This set the location of thevideo and also gives out an adventurous and eerie feel to thevideo. Also at the beginning of the video, there is a tracking shot, which is following the group of teenagers through the forest.Doing this allows the audience to feel like there are apart ofthe video and that they are a part of the journey. 3. CAMERA WORK Another type of camera work is a close up, in this particularvideo there are lots of them, however they are of manythings, for example, the artists, which is very conventional, the teenagers faces, and lastly of the feet, when its thedancing section.By having the close ups of the teenagers faces, it allows usto see what they look like but also see the facial expressionwhich all look like they are particularly upset, as if to say thedarkness is there weakness. You know this because when itget it gets to the brighter sections you can see the differencein their faces. 4. CAMERAWORK Then, there were long shots, and mid shots which were also shown ata low angle . This is to show the importance of the artist. Finally there was a shallow focus, on the artist, this particular use ofthe camera it used in a couple of the shots in this music video 5. EDITING The pace of the editing starts off slow but as the songcontinues that pace starts to picks up. In some sections of the video, there are black and whiteeffects or have a coloured tinge, in particular when thegroup are in the park. And finally, there is the use of slow motion, this is usedwhen the dance sections are shown. 6. MISE-EN-SCENE The location of the video is in a few places; forest, on roads, and in a park. The costumes that are used for the artist are very glamorous however theyare in dark colours, reflecting the lighting and make the shot alot brighter. And the costumes for the extras, are dark gothic clothing however they arevery fashionable. The use of the dark clothing is to make the bright lightssound out against the clothing and make the beams of light the focus whenshown. 7. MISE-EN-SCENE The lighting that was used throughout was mostly lowkey lighting, however there were moments of brightbeams of lighting, whether its from a cars head light orfrom the sun, however whenever the light is shown it isthe main focus.
