Global Talent programme is not an

    opportunity whose sole purpose is

    earning money or travelling.

In Viet Nam, the phenomenon of

    globalization has both brought out

    opportunities and posed the country

numerous challenges for the past few years.

One of the highlighted challenges is that the

current workforce for management level do

not usually possess a global mindset due to

the lack of international working experience.

Young Vietnamese people who join Global

    working experience in an international

environment, which will be a strategic move

on their career journey. Because these

experiences will work to their advantages

when they apply to multinational companies

    or executive positions.

3 4Global Talent programme is not intended to be

a permanent career placement or a medium

for any person to permanently leave their

country. If the company or organization

decides to employ the trainee on a permanent

basis in the host country, AIESEC will have no

    role in facilitating this.

Besides, they will develop global mindset

and leadership skills when deal with thedifferences in working styles, perspectives,

cultural or religious stand-points which are

the most challenging things one person

    FIELD

    Marketing Global Talent

    Think global act local

Think global, act local is a well-used slogan, and it sums

most challenging things that any marketer will encounter

    when they work abroad.

therefore, offers young people the chance to challenge

their limits when they have to familiarise themselves with

languages, culture, tradition, economic conditions, social

issues, symbolism of the country as even colors can

make a difference. In the U.S., white is a color for purity; in

Japan, it represents death. Red connotes danger in the

U.S., but it symbolizes luck in China.

Popular countries for Marketing internship include Japan,

    Indonesia, India and Turkey.

I start to build my future

    career with the very first

    stones from Global Talentprogramme

In the first week, I only stayed at International Affairs office

and had some short talks with one or two people. They

helped me to understand the company and shared withme many things about living and travelling in Nagoya.

From the second week, I went out with people in Sales

department. The job of staff in Sales department is to meet

customers and negotiate about the chemical products of

Tsuchiya. Their main customer is Toyota and thats the great

reason why I had a wonderful internship. I had the chance

to visit so many museums as well as so many plants of

Toyota. Thanks to this internship, I gazed with my own eyes

the incredible manufacturing process of Toyota, with lots of

automatic robots. Besides, I also viewed many newest

model cars of this famous group and even sat on a modern

model, which is going to be used in the future. Thats about

Toyota and of course, Tsuchiya didnt connect me to only

Toyota. The customers of Tsuchiya are other big groups such

as Denso, Nissan, Brother, Canon etc. The more customers

Tsuchiya have, the more museums, companies, factories

    you can visit.

When I was small, I had a dream to visit Japan and thanks

to this internship, my dream already came true. Japanese

are truly hospitable and amiable, to the point my eyes

often went teary receiving their kindness.

How does AIESEC Global Talent programme differ from other going abroad programmes?

AIESEC does not define itself as provider of internships only. Rather, AIESEC offers you many different

opportunities to discover and develop your potential. Although an internship abroad is an essential part of the

experience you can gain in AIESEC, it is closely linked to other experiences rather than separated from them.

Throughout the program, you will meet and connect with AIESECers from around the world, participate in local

AIESEC conferences if they are available, and develop yourself through challenges you face during your

internship. As our program is aimed at personal development through connecting with communities and AIESEC

chapters abroad, you will get a unique experience with exchange participants who come from all around the

    world.

What does AIESEC offer students in the Global Talent programme?

AIESEC offers you a platform to find an internship experience of your choice. The members in the organization

provide guidance and assistance throughout the course of your association with AIESEC. The members will

ensure you are inducted into the organization, help you search and find the internship experience of your

choice, assist you with documents and visa processes, ensure you are fully prepared for the experience in the

country you have chosen. The AIESEC host committee, country will guide and assist you once you reach the host

country. The host country will make sure of the pickup, accommodation, internship experience and all other

networking events with other interns working on the project with you.

What does AIESEC not provide you?

AIESEC does not offer you tailor made internships as a product, that is, it does not provide you a particularinternship in a particular country. AIESEC is present in 113 countries in the world and has a number of

opportunities for students to choose from. A student enrolling in the Global Talent programme should be flexible

and accommodative with the various internship experiences available in a variety of countries. Every student

however, will be given a choice of internships in various countries to choose from before making decision.

Do I need to be fluent in X to go to an X-speaking country?

English is the international language of AIESEC. AIESEC members across the world will speak English, and the

English language is the basis of a large number of AIESEC internships. Because of this, proficiency in English is

required to be eligible to go on most any AIESEC internship. In Central and South America the majority of

internships require proficiency in Spanish. Those in Germany often require proficiency in German. Additional

language ability is an added bonus for multi-lingual applicants.

    FAQYour concern

Do I have any salary if I join AIESEC Global Talent programme?

Yes. The monthly salary paid by the company will be enough for you to
