3.1 Tool Changes

RPC Number Description wi00943031 (FR207) BCM (Global)

Remove Registration for Failed Systems on Keycode Regenerations This enhancement removes an unnecessary step for BCM Regenerations. Applies to all BCM products. The Regeneration process is improved as follows: 1. The user message on the initial Regeneration screen is changed to: Before initiating a regeneration, please ensure that the new System ID is properly registered (use the "Product Registration" and "Customer Registration" links). 2. Upon completion of Step 1 (entry of Failed and New system ID’s and press <Continue> button), a check is performed on whether the New system is registered.

If the New system is NOT registered, then an error message is displayed as follows and the Regeneration process is stopped: The New system is not yet registered. Please use the "Product Registration" and "Customer Registration" links to complete the new system registration process prior to Regeneration. 3. If the failed system is not registered, the user is no longer required to register the failed system as part of the regeneration process.
