Company IntroductionInception 2005 - Glitz Pharma is situated in Islamabad the capital of Pakistan. We are established pharmaceutical concern involved in manufacturing of variety of formulations catering major therapeutic areas. We are committed to produce supreme Quality products by the strict compliance of the rules of cGMP, by application of WHO guidelines and the clauses of ISO 9001:2008 in all aspects of manufacturing of Glitz Pharma products. We Have Registered 251 Products with Ministry of Health Pakistan. Glitz Marketing Team is well equipped with Professional Marketers who are present in all areas of Pakistan, promoting Glitz Products as Brand Leaders. We, at “Glitz” have a strong commitment towards humanity for delivering quality products at affordable prices & to continuously improve the effectiveness of Quality Management System.
GLITZ PharmaLocation & Surrounding: Glitz Pharma is situated in the industrial area of Islamabad in an environment favorable for manufacturing process and minimum risk of causing any contamination of material or product, the location of the Plant complies with the GMP requirements.
Size: The total area of premises 30128 square feet
Building Layout, Design & construction: The building layout and designing of the production area of the Plant is in accordance with the GMP requirements to minimize the risk of errors, facilitate good sanitation and feasible for effective cleaning and maintenance to avoid cross contamination, dust or dirt which could adversely affect the product quality. The production area is designed and well equipped to provide protection against the entry of insects and other animals. The construction of the floor, wall and ceilings of all the production related areas fulfill the requirements and the piping, light fittings and ventilation points are designed accordingly.
Storage Areas: The storage areas of the Plant are properly defined and segregated according to various categories of material & products, the storage areas are designed to ensure good storage conditions that fulfill the storage requirements of drug under controlled temperature and humidity. The storage area in the Plant is segregated into different categories and identified accordingly e.g. Quarantine Area, Sampling Area, Released Material Area, Rejected Material Area, Special
Material Area and Dispensing Area. All the areas are provided with the facilities to fulfill the GMP requirements. Production Area: The production area of the Glitz Pharma has been designed to allow the production to take place in areas connected in a logical order corresponding to the sequence of the operations. The adequacy of the working area and in process storage space permits the orderly and logical placement of equipment and material so as to minimize the risk of confusion between different products thus avoiding cross contamination. The interior surfaces (floor, wall & ceiling) are smooth and free from cracks and open joints to permit easy and effective cleaning. The production areas are effectively ventilated with air control facilities appropriate to the product handling, the environmental conditions of these areas are monitored on daily basis to ensure the compliance of the GMP requirements. The production area has dedicated facility for parenterals, syrup, dry suspension, capsulation and tablet production cream and ointments. Moreover it has also further segregation in psychotropic drugs, antibiotics and general pharmaceutical products to provide complete separation in production to avoid cross contamination in the drugs.
Ancillary Areas: All the ancillary areas like Workshop, Changing Rooms, Cafeteria & Wash Rooms/ Toilets are separated from the production area and fulfill the GMP requirements.
