MILWAUKEE,WI(Tuesday,February26,2019)-ThefirstGlennMillerOrchestradidnotmakeitatall.Itwasatotalandabsoluteeconomicfailure.ButGlennknewwhathewanted,heldtothatdedicationandrelentlesslyworkedtosucceed.Helaunchedhissecondband-theonethatlivesontoday-inMarchof1938.TheGlennMillerOrchestrahasbeena“hit”eversince.ThelegendaryGlennMillerwasoneofthemostsuccessfulofalldancebandleadersbackintheSwingEraofthe1930’sand40’s.Amatchlessstringofhitrecords,theconstantimpactofradiobroadcastsandthedrawingpowerattheatres,hotelsanddancepavilion,builtandsustainedthemomentumofpopularity.Glenndisbandedhismusicalorganizationin1942attheheightofitspopularitytovolunteerfortheArmy.There,heorganizedandleadthefamousGlennMillerArmyAirForceBand.ItwenttoEuropetoentertainservicemenperformingnumerousliveandradioshows.OnDecember15,1944,MajorMillertookoffina
