Subject Enrichment Assessment

• Note : Each Subject Enrichment Activity will be of 5 Marks. Total of 3 Activities which comes out to be 15 should be reduced to 5% weightage to be given in the Internal Assessment of each Term.

• To be conducted in June, July, August for Term1.

• To be conducted in November, December, February for Term2.

• Maximum Marks – 5+5 = 10

Homework …….• The regular completion of homework assignments has a positive effect on a

student’s success.

• Homework is an important element that reinforces the skills taught in the classroom.

• Every week home work will be assigned as per the subject schedule .

• Math homework will be given everyday.

• Parents need to sign the diary daily.

• If the child fails to complete his home work, he /she has to say back.

Discipline and values

General Rule

• Attendance-minimum 80% at school.

• Presentable attire and appearance should be maintained daily.

• Students are expected to take care of school property.

• School diary and id cards should be brought to school daily.

• General courtesy – to be shown towards teachers, school staff

and any visitor at school.

• Students are prohibited to bring electronic device and valuable

ornaments to school.

Discipline

Utmost efforts are made by the school to ensure an ideal behavior by

the students through imparting value education.

1. Treating the children with love and affection.

2. Regular counselling by teachers and the counselor.

3. Through appreciation of exemplary behavior during assembly.

improving his/her behavior.

Disciplinary Action

1. Late coming – Sent back home.

2. Uniform defaulter – To be sent back or parent called with proper uniform.

3. Long hair (Boys) – Barber will called in school.

4. Bringing gadgets to school – Confiscated and will be given away in charity to the

needy.

5. In discipline in bus – Facility withdrawn.

6. In discipline in school – Strictest punishment at the discretion of the Principal.

Parents involvement in correcting the undesirable behavior of the student is expected

to avoid any severe punishment.

Uniform for Academic Session2018-19

• Students must wear prescribed school uniform.

• They must be neatly dressed with their shoes polished and hair groomed properly.

• Wearing of expensive or valuable ornaments is strictly prohibited.

• Girls with hair, longer than their shoulder length must wear two plaits with navy blue band. A hair band is compulsory for all girls.

• Boys must have short hair and fancy hair cut is strictly prohibited

Birthday dress code

• Students may wear a formal civil dress.

• Girls should avoid wearing sleeveless, high heels and hair should not be left loose.

• Kindly donate a book on the students birthday .

• Distribution of sweets is not permitted. Only homemade goodies may be distributed in the concerned classes

• Mails - Parents should click on the image when they open the mail received from us. This gives a report.

• SMS – Parents will get the notification regarding the holidays, attendance and notices from school.

• Quarterly activity newsletter to Students will be given to Std I-VII/anecdotal dossiers for pre primary once in a term

Safety Measures-Visitors to school

• ALL visitors to the school property during the school day must use the

front entrance and report to the school office.

• All visitors, parents and volunteers must wear identification.

• They must stop at the office to sign in and obtain identification if

proceeding to the classroom area.

Leave

• Leave will be granted only on prior written application by the parent .

• In case of illness, medical certificate should be produced with the class teacher after your ward rejoins the school.

• The application format is printed in the school diary

• If the child is absent, it is the duty of the Parent to get the work completed.

• Parents must refrain from long absenteeism during academic working days.
