Results• Most of the group has

implemented an asset management system and use GIS to support it.

• Most of the group uses ESRI.

• Oracle, MSSQL and Access DBMS.

• Half of the group have a work order management system in place.

• I would like to get different ideas on how other agencies are tracking assets so that we can get different cost effective methods developed to track our assets at the City.

• Sharing of knowledge and best practices. Database designs and code examples. Opportunities for collaboration.

• Collaboration that results in less duplication of effort on asset repository design and asset management practices.
