German market leader paving the way for the future The Mineral Oil Technology business unit of Westfalia Separator AG is now an independent company. The sole shareholder is Westfa- lia Separator AG, a com- pany of the GEA group. The company will operate as Westfalia Separator Miner- aloil Systems GmbH, and is also based in Oelde. The company is a market leader in the field of centri- fugal processing of mineral oil and derivatives. Pro- ducts include centrifugal se- parators, decanters and related system technology for marine, energy, oil-field and industry applications. By transferring opera- tions to a legally indepen- dent company, it aims to strengthen its ability to op- erate in changing markets and pave the way for further international expansion. The activities of this new company are concentrated on improving existing and developing new future-or- iented solutions. Westfalia Separator Mineraloil Sys- tems will thus continue to be an innovative and com- petent systems provider for all technical separation ap- plications in mineral oil technology. The unit, which turns over more than DMlOO mil- lion, serves its customers via the subsidiaries of West- falia Separator AG and agencies in more than 100 countries worldwide.
