1. DURABLE WATER REPELLANT SPRAYDesigned to make surface water bead off the jacket, this spray is a cru-cial part of the garments breathability. There are several DWR’s avail-able and their effective durability is reflected in their price. Because our gear is made for paddling, Our DWR is the toughest available.

2. FACE FABRIC60g/m2 100% nylon. We employ a lighter denier of nylon for the 2.0 Ply line of gear to ensure comfort and freedom of movement.

3. eXhaust MEMBRANEThis Layer provides the systems waterproofness and breathability. The eXhaust membrane is a ultra thin layer that has micro pores small enough to prevent water from penetrating but large enough to allow body vapor (sweat) to escape. Sandwiched between the protective layers of the outer face fabric and a screened print, this system is breathable and durable enough for the punishing demands of paddling.Water Specifications:- 3,000 mm water resistance (water column test)Breathability Specifications:-3,000g/m2/24hrs breathability (JIS L 1099 B1 tests)

TECHNICAL guide

Hydro-Shield is a nano treatment done during the yarn spinning

process to infuse the yarn before it is woven with a highly water resistant finish which does not

affect the overall breathability of the finished fabric.

UPF stands for “ultraviolet protection factor”. Our UPF

35+/50+ rating means that no more than 1/35th or 1/50th of the sun’s UVA and UVB rays

pass through the fabric.

Being thinner than 3-ply Tricot, this film is the best choice to increase the toughness of our lightweight paddling gear.
