Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation (PSPC) which refines, blends, transports and sells a wide range of high quality fuels, lubricants, liquefied petroleum gas, bitumen and other specialty oil-based products. It operates a 93-thousand barrels per day refinery, 22 oil depots across the country and over 960 retail stations nationwide.

(SPEX) SPEX is at the forefront of the country’s oil and gas exploration activities, operating the Malampaya Deepwater Gas-to-Power Project on behalf of the Department of Energy and its partners (Chevron Malampaya LLC and the Philippine National Oil Company - Exploration Corporation).

Shell Business Service Centre – Manila (SBSC- manila) provides services related to finance, human resourcement, procurement, customer service and other business needs to Shell companies.

Shell Gas Eastern, Inc. (SGEI) SGEI operates the only refrigerated propane and butane terminal in the Philippines, supplying local and regional customers.

Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. (PSFI)Established in 1982, PSFI is an independent non-profit organisation that implements social investment projects in the country designed to help disadvantaged people become more productive and responsible members of society. PSFI has benefited nearly 2 million people all over the country through its community development programmes.

Fuels

Shell V-power is a high octane car fuel’s technical specification. Shell scientists uses the Formula One as a laboratory for fuel development.

Fuel Composition- Friction Modification Technology(FMT) which is formulated to reduce friction between the cylinder and piston rings, a critical area of the engine where lubrication is difficult to achieve. FMT is designed to help the engine turn more freely, and so support more efficient energy transfer from the fuel to the wheels.

-High octane, Shell V-Power has high octane unleaded petrol (99 RON) designed to help maximize the performance of many modern engines with adaptive spark timing capacity.

-Powerful Cleaning Technology, developed to help enhance everyday driving performance and responsiveness. These cleaning components are designed to prevent the build up of power-robbing inlet valve deposits and to help remove those which may have been left behind by other fuels.

For over 60 years, Shell and Ferrari have shared a passion for performance.  The dedicated team of scientists in Shell’s Centre for Fuels Development use the Formula One environment as a laboratory, testing fuels and lubricant formulations under the most extreme conditions. We work on many factors that affect a car’s engine, then use these insights when formulating Shell V-Power, helping to benefit drivers in many countries.

Petron

PETRON CORPORATION is the largest oil refining and marketing company in the Philippines. Supplying nearly 40% of the country’s oil requirements, our world-class products and quality services fuel the lives of millions of Filipinos.

It has a refinery in Limay, Bataan with a rated capacity of 180,000 barrels a day. It is also ISO-14001-certified refinery processes crude oil into full range of petroleum products including LPG, gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, kerosene, industrial fuel oil, solvents, asphalts, and the petrochemical feedstocks-mixed xylene and propylene. 

From the refinery, we move our products mainly by sea to our 32 depots and terminal situated all over the country. Through this nationwide network, we supply fuel oil, diesel, and LPG to various industrial customers. The power sector is our largest customer. We also supply jet fuel at key airports to international and domestic carriers.Through over 1,400 service stations, we retail gasoline, diesel, and kerosene to motorists and public transport operators. We also sell our LPG brand Gasul to household and other consumers through an extensive dealership network.We operate a world-class lube oil blending plant at our Pandacan Terminal, where we manufacture lubes and greases. These are also sold through service stations and sales centers. We also operate a blending plant in Subic Bay that produces fuel additives to increase the efficiency of our widely-acclaimed fuels namely Blaze, XCS Plus, Xtra Unleaded and DieselMax.

Likewise, petron corporation owns the petron with Ashmore Group holding the outstanding shares of 90.7 percent.

Fuels
