1. You are Manoj/ Meena. Write an article in about 200 words on the topic ‘Your
lifestyle without modern gadgets’ for your school magazine.
2. You are a reporter of Dainik Times. You witnessed a road accident due to rash
and negligent driving by KSRTC bus driver. The driver lost control of the bus. It
hit a pole leaving two persons dead and twenty-five injured. Write a news report on
the same in about 125 words.
3. You are worried about the hikes in the prices of essential commodities like gas,
pulses, vegetables, etc. Prepare a speech in not more than 200 words highlighting
the urgent need for reducing these man made problems, giving suitable
suggestions. You are Vinod / Nidhi.

4. You are Prakash of Vigyan Bhavan Senior Secondary School. You saw an
advertisement regarding a course for training and preparing students for the
TOEFL- Test of English as Foreign Language. You wish to join the course. Write

20, inquiring about all the details you require.
5. Rakesh Pandey, the Purchase Officer of Bharti Telecoms, Gurgaon, has sought
information regarding the prices of various stationery items and terms of their
supply. On behalf of your firm, M/s Novex Stationery Company, Chawri Bazar,
Delhi, write a reply to this enquiry giving necessary details.

Collect the Balance Sheet with Notes to Accounts of a Public Company and
find out the Cash Flow Position for the year ended 31/03/2015. Here also,the
introductory page will be the History of the Company you selected. Comment
on the cash flow position and draw a Bar Diagram showing the cash generated
(or used) under Operating, Investing and Financing Activities.
Note: Two different Companies should be selected for Project 1 and Project 2.
These two specific projects will be put into the same file in which
comprehensive project was done.
