Moving from Career Pathway to Career Major – Oklahoma’s FY15 State Plan

“Each cluster, pathway, and career major being offered by an eligible recipient must identify a clear option to pursue postsecondary education to be eligible for Perkins funds.”

Eligible recipients must provide students with a concentrator status• Demonstrate a working relationship between

secondary/postsecondary & creates a path to career major completion…with results

• Otherwise, join a technology center coop (secondary) or a postsecondary consortium (technology center or collegiate) that demonstrates this requirement

• Performance Measures are required on all secondary CTE, not just Tech Center secondary

We will no longer approve Perkins funds for individual courses.
