Kali Protectives is a Californian innovative body protec-tion and helmet company whose worldwide distribution is based around a network of specialist retailers.KALI Protectives brings the result of years of combined experience from its founder members in designing innova-tive protective gear for skiing, cycling and motorcycling. “Innovating and designing head and body protection gear is a constantly-evolving objective”, says the company’s co-founder and product engineer, Brad Waldron.“The best way of ensuring ongoing innovation is to remain constantly focused on what riders need and what influences their choices”. On top of his Californian origins, Waldron has got together with French project leader and rider David Assyag, who is well-known for his experience in helmet design, with the aim of “bringing a European influence to our product line”. Since it was set up in 2008, KALI Protectives has sub-mitted several patents and continues to introduce new products, with a view to providing lightweight and comfor-table helmets which, above all, provide unprecedented protection.
