Group Study Exchange GSE Vocational Training Teams- VTT
Teams exchange visits between pairedareas in different countries
VTTs may or may not be reciprocatedby partner districts
For businesspeople and professionals
between the ages of 25 and 40 whoare in the early stages of their careers
The district can choose the program
length, how many team members willparticipate, and how old they should be
TRF provides l round-trip airline ticketbetween the home and host countries
VTTS will be funded either by thedistrict block grant or the global grant..
In a typical four-week tour, applicantsparticipate in five full days of vocationalvisits, 15 to 20 club presentations, 10 to15 formal visits and social events, twoto three days at the district conference, three to four hours per day of culturaland site tours, and three to four hours
per day of free timewith host families
VTTs will be more flexible than everbefore. Districts who operate VTTsthrough their district grant will basicallydecide how the program operates andtake care of much of the bureaucracypreviously undertaken by Evanston.
Team members experience the hostcountry's culture and institutions, observe how their vocations developpersonal and professional relationships,
and exchange ideas
If the VTT is capable of CapacityBuilding and has a potential SustainableOutcome through the areas of Focus, itcan be funded through Global Grants.
