The tradi-tion, legacy and history of the Shorthorn breed and its junior association isunequaled. This is the time for Funding the Future of the AJSA! Willyou be a part of it? Are you a piece of the puzzle?

The popularity of the Shorthorn breed amongst juniors across the country is evidentas junior memberships and entries at the National Junior Shorthorn Show continueto rise annually. With this promising growth comes a need for increased funding toprovide our membership with educational opportunities, a stronger program of workand larger and larger facilities to host a national event. All the funds raised in theFunding The Future Sale will support the American Junior Shorthorn Associationprogram and will assist future Junior National host states to offset the growingcost of providing a successful event. "Red Rock" semen is notavailable on the openmarket, which meansthis lot offers you the opportunity to gain geneticrarity similar to our mating of DFS Little CedarMary 102 to the '70s "maternal powerhouse"Weston Dynamo some twenty years after his hey-day, producing our treasured donor Little CedarWeston Mary. (Her daughter by Oakview TwoPlus Two is a 2011 Revival sale feature.) Fourgenerations of Marys exhibit the consistent pheno-type and maternal attributes that come fromkeeping type, function and fertility the topmostpriorities. This embryo mating of the big-bodied,stout, easy fleshing, outcross sire "Red Rock" to thecomparably outcross direct descendant of thefamous Mary line (DFS Riders Mary 905"Arrowhead" and Green Ridge DP Mary9434) is sure to produce progress for yourprogram...and the breed!
