The bus trip was long and boring. Most people played on their DS’s but I listened to my iPod. On the way we saw the “Dog on the Tuckerbox” in Gundagai which was interesting! It took us 10 hours to get to Canberra.

Parliament House was FANTASTIC!!!!! I loved everything. We found out how the government worked and got to run our own debate!!! We even got to WALK ON THE ROOF!!! I had a great time.

• Australia became a federation in 1901.

• The Queen is represented by the Governor-General in Australia.

The AIS was fabulous. We got to walk around and see all the great facilities. Girls who do gymnastics can go to the AIS when they are 8 or older. We also got to play sports which included Dodgeball, Soccer and European Handball.

CSIRO (Commonwealth Science and Industrial Research Organization), was soooo fun!! We got to do activities in a lab and we got to hold real stick insects!! One was giant. We even got to watch a 3D video!!!

WOW!!

The war memorial was fun but boring at the same time! The boring part was appreciating the unknown soldier but the fun part was learning about all the amazing things that happened in war!

Questacon was amazing! The roller-coaster simulator was so real! I loved it! There were lots of amazing illusions and fantastic displays!! It was great!

The National Museum was great! It was very fun at K-Space where we got to create our own computer- generated homes or vehicles and then watch them in a 3D movie!! It was great at Circa where we got to find out about the past and the present.

The Telstra Tower was sooo cool. At 890 metres above sea level, the views were fantastic. You could go up to the top level and look out. The wind was very strong. I had a fantastic time!!
