    Why are we Frugal? Is it because its Fun A Necessity Trendy?

    Why do I buy the stuff I buy? Why do I dress the way I do?1 Timothy 2:9-10 Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with bra

    hair and gold or pearls or costly garments, but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim togodliness.

    What does the Bible say?

    We were created for the purpose of glorifying God and good works, not for our ownhappiness.1 Corinthians 10:31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand thwe should walk in them.

    God has promised to provide us all we need (not all we want or desire)Philippians 4:11, 1 Timothy 6:8, 2 Corinthians 12:10

    As women, we manage our households as we make many daily decisions about feedinand clothing our families. The word stewardship is the Greek word oikonomia, which meahousehold management.

    Questions to consider when balancing stewardship:1. What is my perspective on material things? Matthew 6:19-202. Am I content in all things? Philippians 4:11-123. Do I have a servants attitude? Philippians 2:3-44. Do I give God my best? (and this is not just money!) Proverbs 3:9-105. Do I put God first when making decisions? Matthew 6:336. What does the testimony of my stewardship look like to others? Ecclesiastes 12:13-7.

    Do I remember that whats right for someone else, might not be right for me? Roma14:14-238. What am I teaching my children and grandchildren in my words and actions?

    Deuteronomy 4:8-9
