Jefferson Community College Women’s Organization is hosting the 25th annual craft fair from 9a.m. to 4p.m. in the
McVean Student Center, Building 4. In celebration of its 25th anniversary, patrons will have a chance to win a $500
gift certificate redeemable at the JCC bookstore, applicable toward JCC non-credit workshops and seminars or
college tuition. Additionally, twelve patrons will receive $10 gift certificates for use at the craft fair. More than 100
vendors will have a variety of handcrafted items for sale, including art, candles, ceramics, flora, food, jewelry, and
many different wood craft items. Admission is $2.00 per person. Proceeds benefit the Jefferson Community
College Women’s Organization, which awards up to ten $500 scholarships annually.

Create Your Holiday Ornament
Date: November 5, 2011 Time: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Event Description Children and adults are invited to "Create Your Holiday Ornament" at the Jefferson County
Historical Society under the guidance of talented artist Ursula Mickle. All materials will be provided, and the
design process shared by all. Ursula will work with Adults from 10am-Noon and with children(ages 5 to 12) from
1pm-3pm. Beginners and experience artisits are welcome. Children will decorate pre-molded tiles of snowmen,
trees and stars. A call ahead will reserve a place for either workshop, space is limited. Call JCHS for more
information at 782-3491. Registration fee is $15 which includes materials and also includes access to all JCHS
exhibits, the historic buildings and grounds.

Special walking preview on 14 & 15 Nov from 5-9pm and visitors can choose to park at either the Wegmans
Landing (Griffin Visitor Center), Salt Museum or Willow Bay lots. This is a great opportunity to get some fresh air
and exercise. Walkers can cover as much of the two mile stretch as they desire and should dress for the weather.
Shuttle service is not provided. Holiday characters will be on the trail and refreshments will be available for sale.
Cars are not allowed on the trail for this special evening but will be admitted to the show beginning Thursday,
November 17. Please leave pets at home. Donations collected on Monday, November 14 will benefit the Friends of
Onondaga County Parks (Friends of Beaver Lake, Friends of the Zoo, Friends of Carpenter's Brook and the Friends
of Historic Onondaga Lake. Donations collected on Tuesday, November 15 will benefit the Rescue Mission.
16 Nov only Dogs are welcome at the Lights on the Lake for the special Dog Walk from 5-9pm donations
collected will benefit the Humane Association.

Admission:
Monday-Thursday - $8.00 per car (including motorcycles) - show your Wegmans Shoppers Club Card
for $2 off on Mondays and Tuesdays. Visitors with a Driver's Village or Burdick Automotive license
plate frame will get $2 off on Wednesdays.
Friday, Saturday & Sunday - $12 per car (including motorcycles).

7 Jan at 11pm sharp, run thru Wegmans Lights on the Lake
This 4 mile (approx.) run begins promptly at 11pm at the Griffin Visitor Center. Runners go to Willow Bay and
back. No walkers please, lights will be turned off at midnight.
