Amalgamated is an experienced manufacturer of Composite brand industrial fiberglass reinforced plasticproducts. The specific characteristic of F.R.P. composite material is used in designing of cable trays to getthe best technical solutions. We have technical collaboration with Germany and also take assistance ofcomposite section of lIT, Mumbai.

Features of Composite ER.P.Cable Trays

1. Resistance to corrosion:

Composite F.R.P. cable trays are corrosion resistantto basic environment, salt water etc. These Cabletrays are also resistant to electrolytic corrosion dueto contact of two metals in humid environment. This unique property contributes to reduce the lifecycle costs of cable trays.

2. Mechanical strength:Strength to weight ratio of FRP is very highcompare to conventional materials.

3. Thermal and Electrical Insulation:

Composite F.R.P. cable trays are having excellentthermal insulation (1000 times less heat conductorthan aluminium) and electrical insulation (-6kv / mm)properties hence no spark risks due to contact withother material.

4. Easv installation:The tray construction is such as to facilitate easyhandling and to ensure easy laying of cable withoutcausing damage to cables. A quick and reliableassembly reduces your installation time upto 50% .It is easy to work i.e. Cut, drill on sight no burring,no finishing and no risk of injury and no requirement of electrical continuity test.

5. Self Extinguishing:Composite F.R.P. Cable trays are with inbuilt fireretardant property in accordance with ASTM E-84and 1S6746.

6. Resistant to ultra violet lightAn additive material is mixed with the FRP to makethem resistant to ultraviolet light
