Once upon a time in the marvelous and enchanting land of Brittany,

It’s here!

a terrible curse was weighting upon the tormented seaside.

It troubled the night of every man. It was a real nightmare even for the most coura-

geous sailor. Eldest’s whispers carried on its mystery and its greatness. A lonely ship in search of the most precious pearls was reigning on the sea.

No vessels could stand against him. A lonely ship dwelled by the most dreadful

pirates. Every sailor trembled at the sound of their chorus.

A lonely ship guided by the famous one-eyed captain Leborgne*!

Few were the ones who survived his voracious desire of gold.

*In French “le borgne” means “one-eyed man”

Over time, the Leborgne line kept on thriving as terrible pirates.

The captain Leborgne dynasty kept

on fuelling awful stories. His terrible

temper has never faded away from

a generation to the other one. It re-

mained well known as the inheritance

of being his descendant.

I was born as one of them!

The fierce blood of captain Leborgne

flows in my veins.

I grew up as a pirate. I quickly learned all the secrets of the seaside, all the

address from the finest pirates.

Family Portrait - Daddy, my sister, my brother, my Mummy and myself.

I did not share the voracious desire of gold as my ancestor did. But I shared his

passion and his persistence. My preference leaned toward creating more wealth

from unexpected skills I could not prevent from my voracious desire of learning how

to make it possible Quickly the enchanting land of Brittany could have no more secret

for me...

Page 5: From a pirate to a gangster !

I searched for a new learning horizon. I took

on a journey and stopped by at the Alps

Mountain. Here I had still a lot to learn!

However I had became an unfortunate pirate. .I had left my elders and hardly found a way to carry

on my skills for piracy in the ... mountains!?! Yes, what an

idea. Have you ever met a single pirate thriving in the

mountain?

Yet I was not helpless. I rea-

lized I was now evolving in a

giant pool along with business

sharks. I searched for their

most unexpected and precious

skills. I found out that their

extempore ideas could be va-

luable for my quest.

Page 6: From a pirate to a gangster !

From a pirate I became a gangster

the day I joined an incredible gang:

MakeSense. An international gang which connects with social entrepre-

neurs so they could help them raising their challenges by

organizing : hold-ups (creative workshops). I learned how

to organize hold-up with my new fellows from MakeSense.

We understood how to steal people ideas for the people

who needed it the most: social impactful entrepreneurs.

Then I started a journey across the globe to meet these entrepre-

neurs who were making sense.

Page 7: From a pirate to a gangster !

In Beijing Yao and Tina needed help

for their Healthy Baby SMS project.

They were seeking new ideas to

develop a sustainable business mo-

del so they could help more unfor-

tunate women to access to the

basic medical care they needed

during their pregnancy.

In Senegal, Benjamin was seeking

for new ideas so he could finance

new economic and social projects

(a school, a hospital ...) and at the

same time organize a communica-

tion campaign for people to come

stay at his socially responsible hos-

tel: «Hotai Village».

In Paris, Olivier needed ideas to

gather more people in his new

social network where people help

each other dealing with an alter-

native currency: the

Lemna.

In Ghana, Felix also needed ideas

for his African Test. He wished

to attract tourists in his home

town, so they will come and help

him teach what they would like to

share in his school for underpri-

vileged kids.

Page 8: From a pirate to a gangster !

In Bhopal, Pradeep has

been creating the Mu-

seum School. He needed new

ideas to help share the

knowledge of the world with

the kids from the world

and create a brand new

school.

In Punjab, Manoj needed

news ideas for the Naandi

Clean Water Program. His

team wished to develop im-

pactful communication cam-

paign so they could provide to

more rural people clean and

safe water.

As I was travelling and hold-upping ideas for these sense making pro-

jects, I met Avhani, Divya and Manish. They wanted to become surgeons,

scientists and pilots.

They had so much dreams and enthusiasm to share. From the slum they were living in

they invite me to join their tender, generous and hopefulness world.

Page 9: From a pirate to a gangster !

At this time I was a happy gangster. I was willing to keep on learning so

one day I could share with them my enthusiasm and truly contribute to

social impactful projects from Europe to Asia,

I started to become an explorer.

I am willing to understand: social innovation projects, challenges and pro-

mising strategy; how targeting low-income population is a deep source of

renewal and innovation for companies; how companies can benefit from

these innovations and learning at their global scale...

An explorer who is still keen on learning so I could, at my scale, create a

bit of a better world.

Here I am and hopefully I still have a lot to learn!

To be continued ...
