    SAFETY REQUIREMENT

    Be binding upon us or constitute the assumption of any risk contributory negligence on our part;

    The safety requirement for the safe conduct of operations on board your ship while alongside the berth at our terminal

    with you as Master. Nevertheless, since our personnel, property and other shipping may suffer serious damage in the ev

    an accident aboard your ship, we wish, before operations start, to seek your full co-operation and understanding on the

    requirements set out in the Ship/Shore Check List.

    These safety requirements have been drawn up by a number of international terminal operators in conjunction

    In addition, we shall, as often as necessary during the course of operations, instruct a member of our staff t

    your ship and, after reporting to you or your deputy, carry out such further inspections as we deem neceprovided always that the aforesaid jointly conducted routine inspection and the further inspections conducted

    shall not in any manner whatsoever:

    Prejudice, affect or determine our right to recover from you any losses which would otherwise be recov

    from you;

    If you observe any infringement of these requirements by our Terminal staff, whether on the jetty or on board your ship,

    bring this immediately to the notice of our representative who is nominated as your contact during your stay at our

    Release, diminish, discharge or exonerate you from any liabilities whatsoever.
