COUNTY CORNER

Blankets of Love – Loudoun County has a large percentage of homeless families who do not have a place to seek shelter when it gets cold. Many of them are forced to live in tents out in wooded areas. Starting November 20th, Brambleton Presbyterian Church will engage in fundraising for “Blankets of Love”- a compassion project to raise enough money to purchase and collect 300 blankets to help the homeless living in Loudoun County through the winter. Adults and youth are invited to participate in this project! To partner with this project please contact Grace Keely at [email protected]. Read more about it at www.brambletonchurch.org/blankets-of-love/ Cub Scout Pack 1500 Thanks Brambleton for Supporting Scouting for Food – Cub Scout Pack 1500 would like to graciously thank the Brambleton residents for contributing toward the success of Scouting for Food program this past weekend. Pack 1500 was responsible for collecting non-perishable food from the Brambleton residents east of Belmont Ridge Road for the food bank. The Scouts collected and delivered 1,408 lbs. of food to the Seven Loaves Food Pantry at the Middleburg United Methodist Church. This donation doubled last year's total collection and made the Scouts proud to be part of the community. Thanks Brambleton!
