Year 5 Christmas Play - Primary School Christmas Musical Congratulations to the children in Year 5 who presented two

wonderful Christmas plays earlier this week. The children had been working extremely hard and this could definitely be seen in the qual-ity of their singing and the attention to detail throughout. The read-ers and actors also delivered very high quality performances, with

some beautiful dancing too. Well done to all the children and thank you to the staff for preparing them so effectively.

Thank you for coming along to the concerts and for your very generous donations to Shelter Box which, together with the sponsor money from the Random Acts of Kindness, totalled £937! Amazing!

The Ark Day Care Centre School Council representatives enjoyed a very festive trip to

The Ark this week where they helped the clients wrap presents for their nearest and dearest, as well as listening

and dancing to some well-loved Christmas songs! Staff members were particularly impressed this week with how

well the children interacted with everyone at the centre and the huge effort they made with their delicious cakes (which

were thoroughly enjoyed by all)! A fun packed afternoon was had and a huge thank you goes to Mrs Willis and Mrs Felton

for supervising the trip.

Forest Schools On Wednesday, a selection of Year 3 pupils had a fantastic

session of Forest School. They had immense fun playing games, making mobiles with found objects, making dens, drinking hot chocolate and eating biscuits! They are looking forward to our

adventure next term!

sponsored me for the London Marathon! I have been overwhelmed by your generosity and

encouraging messages! I will be busy this weekend writing thank you notes and also out training - I

Boys’ Football Parish Cup - Roding Primary 1 - 3 Buttsbury

Thursday afternoon saw the boys take part in the next round of the Parish Cup with a place in the quarter finals

at stake. The boys started the game with their normal attacking flair and after several missed opportunities, Jack managed to lob the goalkeeper and float the ball into the far corner. Some quick thinking from Ollie in goal, saw a second follow with Kai curling the ball the ball past the goalkeeper to make it 2-0 at halftime. Buttsbury scored yet another goal in the second half thanks to Andrew, which wrapped up the game. With the last kick of the

match, Roding scored a consultation goal. Buttsbury were fantastic throughout and worked tirelessly as a team. Thank you to everyone who came along and

supported the boys and to Mr Graves, our team manager.
