About NIXI

NIXI - National Internet Exchange of India

A not for profit organization under section 25 of the Companies Act 1956. Was

registered on 19th July, 2003, working under the direct supervision of the

Government of India.

The neutral meeting point of the ISPs (Internet Service Providers) in India. Its

main purpose is to facilitate exchange of domestic Internet traffic between the

peering ISP members

The NIXI – SIFY Internet Learning Program

A specially designed, comprehensive course on the

Internet and computers. The course content is available

on our portal www.sify.com & nixiprogram.sify.com

A candidate can register for the program through a link

provided on sify.com. After going through the course

content he/she needs to take a simple assessment. The

course can be completed at a pace convenient to the

candidate.

A Certificate of Completion is awarded to every

candidate jointly by Sify and NIXI on successful

completion of the program.

The course and certification is absolutely Free of Cost!

Registration process

Internet access is required to avail the course – The candidate can do the course

in the computer lab of the school/ college. In case the facility is not available with

the school/ college, the candidate can visit the nearest sify e-port to access the

Internet.

The candidate needs to visit the website www.sify.com and click on the link for

the course – Sify-NIXI or login directly through nixiprogram.sify.com

The candidate will be guided through a registration process wherein he/ she

needs to fill in certain information in the fields provided.

Once the registration process is completed, the candidate can use his exclusive

login id and password to access the course module as per his convenience.
