Frankston Stand Up Paddle Festival 2015

Get front row seats to the Frankston SUP Festival where
novice and experienced paddlers will compete in a range
of events over the weekend. Stand up paddling is fun for
the whole family (recommended for ages 6 to 60 years). Come and try this popular sport
between 11am and 4pm both days of the Festival.
Bloody Big Swim – This 11.2 km marathon swim from Frankston Life Saving Club to
Mornington Life Saving Club starts at 7am on Saturday 17 January. To register or for

Swim with a Mermaiden – Meet the Festival’s
favourite Mermaidens, Nerissa and Aradia. Kids
can join them in the water as they swim, dive
and glide in the bay. Bring your camera to capture
the moment.

Important Information Car Parking – The boat launching ramp and car park along with Pier Promenade and the Waterfront Playground car park will be closed from 12.30am on Friday 16 January until 12am (midnight) on Sunday 18 January.
It is recommended that event patrons park at Bayside Shopping Centre or Entertainment Complex, Frankston Arts Centre, Frankston Civic Centre, High Street, Davey Street and Wells Street, all of which are within a 10 minute walk of the Festival.
Pets are not permitted on the Festival site during Festival operating hours. Pet owners must obey the signs at the Waterfront at all other times. Due to the fireworks on Saturday night, please ensure that pets are kept away from the site and are safely restrained.
Alcohol and Smoke Free Event – Consumption of alcohol is only permitted in the Beer and Wine Garden and is not to be consumed elsewhere. No BYO. Victoria Police and security will be in attendance. As this is a family-friendly event we ask patrons to refrain from smoking within the event site.
