Operations Manager

Metro Welding Supply Corp Detroit and Ypsilanti 2010 – July 2016 Responsibilities included all aspects of the Manufacturing Operations of Plants #1 and #2, as well as Safety, Quality Assurance and Compliance Issues for FDA, DOT, EPA, CGA, NFPA, MIOSHA and other Governmental Contractual Manufacturing Issues. While expanding the work force from 23 employees to over 70+ employees in the first two years, I assisted with the start up of a new facility from the ground up. I was tasked with, and completed all Compliance and Safety Training. I also worked on the creation, and the documented training of Local Work Instructions, US Governmental and ISO 17025 guidelines. Other responsibilities included updating Floor Plans, Emergency Escape Plans, Hazard Risk Assessments, SARA II, MIOSHA 300 and 300A reporting, HACCP, and training of up to 7 Manager’s onsite for the ease of day to day Operations in both Plants. I was entrusted with handling procurement of materials and cost savings through closely managed budgets. I managed multiple savings due to shopping vendors for cost and quality purposes.

Quality Assurance Manager

EPCO Carbon Dioxide Products Inc. Monroe, La 2009 – 2010Responsibilities included all Quality Issues of the Manufacturing Operations. Any Quality related issues for Producing, Testing, and Delivering of products. My job was to implement training and compliance of FDA, DOT, EPA, and ISBT and Kashrut testing knowledge to 12 different Manufacturing Facilities. I trained all Operators and Plant Managers on HACCP for all Manufacturing Plants. I worked as a liaison between EPCO Corporate Officers, Sales Managers and Customers such as Coors-Miller, Budweiser, Coca-Cola and Jennie-O for discussion of any Quality Issues that may have needed to be overseen and agreed upon.

Plant Manager

Airgas Royal Oak, Michigan 2008 - 2009 I managed the R.O. Specialty Gas Plant and all Operations thereof, to include the dispatch of the Local Fleet, Manufacturing and Laboratory Functions. I trained the trainers, for all Compliance and Plant Safety Training Requirements. QC Manager

Linde Gas LLC – AGA Gas Inc. Canton, Mi 1999 – 2008 My responsibilities included all state Quality Issues relating to FDA "Current Good Manufacturing Practices", also DOT Quality Issues in presenting and distributing Medical Gas Products. I was responsible for all laboratory testing of Specialty Gases, to include, but not limited to, the documentation that supplied all Quantitative and Quality results. I worked with the FDA, FBI, and local law enforcement entities for both Criminal Laboratory Investigative Purposes. During such times, such as company buyouts, I assumed multiple Plant Managing positions, such as Distribution Manager, Production Manager and Cylinder Maintenance Manager duties. I also handled multiple procurement issues with limited budgets. I organized annual Fire Prevention Training Days with Canton Michigan Fire Department, which documented training for participating Local Manufacturers and Distributors in the Canton area. As Quality Manager I worked diligently with Federal FDA Enforcement, to assist in the only lifting/reversal of a Federal Judicial Injunction/Closure of a Medical Gas Manufacturing Plant by the US FDA.
