Easy installation steps :

1. Fit the base channel to the substructure.

2. Clip the glass slip clamps to the bottom edge of the glass panel (We produce different sized clamps for different glass thicknesses).

3. Place the bolt screws in the pivot clamp.4. Position the glass in the channel.

5. Using the adjustment bolts; loosening one side and tightening the other. This will allow the align-ment of the glass with the next panel and enable plumbing of the glass.

6. Attach the cover strip and bead gasket.



The Technical StuffCrystal-View can accommodate a range of different glass thicknesses; 12mm, 13.5mm, 15mm, 17.5mm, 19mm and 21.5mm in a number of different scenarios, some of which are shown below.

Crystal-View is designed to meet with BSi 6180:2011 which covers the balustrade market. It also dictates the different loading requirements in certain situations therefore Crystal-View has been designed so it can take a 1.5kN loading on 19mm glass in a wide rangeoffittingpositions.

Please note that the above are only fitting suggestions and not all fitting scenarios or glass types will meet the 1.5kn load test. Please refer to test results for more info. It is also recommended that a combination toughened/laminate glass be used when no handrail is present. 12

Using 25mm glass Crystal-View-HD meets 3kN loadings in a number of scenarios.

Fitting is easy: Simply place the elements of the wedge kit in the channel when levelled. Then place the glass within the channel ensuring its plumb. Finally place the wedge in the channel and lock into position.
