FPI Professional Competency Examination
Registration
Please note that you need to be registered as a user on our website
in order to complete the examination registration process. If you
already have an account, skip to section 2
SECTION 1
Creating an account
Step 1:
To create an account, go to www.fpi.co.za
Click on Professionals at the top of the page
The system will require you to register as a user. Click on Member Login/Register at the
top of the page:
Select the Register/Activate button on the right of the screen:
Step 2:
Type in your email in the section ‘Create or Search for an account” and click on “Create
Account”.
Step 3:
Select “Proceed as non-member” and fill in all information required on the Activate page.
If successful, you will see the following page:
The same can be achieved if you select “I am a Student”. The only difference is that with
the “I am a student” selection, you also have the opportunity to indicate your
qualification and institution at which you are studying.
SECTION 2
Registering for the exam
To register for the exam, go to www.fpi.co.za
Step 1
Click on Professionals at the top of the page
Step 2
The Professional Competency Exam registration link is shown at the right bottom corner of
the web page:
Scroll until you see the exam you want to register for.
Select it by clicking on it.
Step 3
If you are not already logged in, the system will require you to login to register for the
exam. Click on Member Login/Register at the top of the page:
Step 4
Please ensure you read and understand the terms and conditions before you click on the
accept button
Step 5
Select Self Registration, unless you have a password for the Corporate Invoice selection
Step 6
Select the venue at which you prefer to write
your exam and click on the Register button
Step 7
Proceed to checkout to complete the registration
Step 8
Select the payment method you prefer to use and click on Next
Step 9
The registration is now complete and you should have received an invoice via email to use
for payment purposes.
