This innovation resulted in many historic achievements, including contributions in fields such as steamboats, railroads, and naval warfare.     Future Nobel Prize winner Frederick Reines, who received the honor for the detection of the neutrino, graduated in 1939

    Eugene McDermott, founder of Texas Instruments, graduated from Stevens in 1953

    Stevens alumnus Alfred Fielding (39) invented Bubble Wrap in 1957

    Stevens alumnus Alexander Calder (19) sculpted the Stevens Mobile, now hanging in The Great Hall of the Samuel C. Williams Library on campus
