Music AuditionsYou are required to attend the session if you intend to enrol in a Music subject OR if your Monash University major is Music.*Please refer to the Information given below

WEDNESDAY, 22 JANUARY 2020 (COMPULSORY)

*To enrol in Unit 1 Music you need to attend an audition to make sure you meet the standard required by the Performance Exam (40% of final marks). Instrument experience (including voice), knowledge of music theory and reading music is essential.

You’ll be asked to perform a piece/song of your choice, sight-read a short passage or complete some vocal assessments. If you pass this audition you’ll be given a short piece to prepare for the second audition in the first week of class. You must pass both auditions to join the Music class. If required, bring your own instrument.

Welcome to Monash College, your orientation will introduce you to what Monash College is all about. You’ll meet other students and make friends while getting organised for the year ahead. All 3 days of orientation are compulsory for you to attend.
