Dear TinCaps Fans,

Thank you, the fans, for making the 2010 season a huge success. We could not have made this season as special as it was without all

of you. The fans in Fort Wayne have always supported local sports, but this season was particularly impressive, with a record 404,942

fans coming through the turnstiles of Parkview Field and 26 sellouts during the 2010 season. This attendance total is 26,413 higher than

our regular season attendance in our inaugural season in 2009.

Once again, the TinCaps set numerous records on the field and in the stands while generating excitement in and around downtown Fort

Wayne. The 2010 Fort Wayne TinCaps had one of the best records in franchise history, going 77-63 including another appearance in the

Midwest League playoffs. With future Major Leaguers such as Jason Hagerty, Jerry Sullivan, Everett Williams, Miles Mikolas and oth-

ers, this year’s team created memories many nights. The combination of an excellent on-field team and the in-game entertainment that

fans have come to love produced a season that no one will forget.

The TinCaps were champions off the field as well. The TinCaps Reading Program, newly enhanced for the 2010 season with online lesson

plans and other goal-oriented incentives, was utilized by over 300 schools and libraries in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. In our 11th year

with the reading program, 2010 was the biggest season ever for involvement. Parkview Field hosted three Scout Overnights (welcoming

over 1,400 Boy and Girl Scouts), and our mascot, Johnny, was welcomed at Little Leagues, non-profit groups, and countless other com-

munity appearances across the Tri-State Region.

Parkview Field provides options for groups of 15 up to 1,500. Companies that experienced a group outing at Parkview Field in 2009 and

2010 have raved about the ease of the process, the beauty of the venue, the entertainment and the value. Whatever the event, our staff

will work with you to keep the TinCaps at the top of your spring and summer entertainment options. Once again, I thank everyone for

coming out during the 2010 season and hope for even more fun in 2011!

TREETOPS ROOFTOP PARTY AREA

Since opening Parkview Field we have found one of the best new features to be the Treetops area. It has enabled us to treat our employees and their families to a baseball venue different from any we have found before. Nothing beats food hot off the grill, but varying the menu every couple of innings was a stroke of genius. Accompanied by the “bottomless” side dishes and desserts, it’s a great and affordable way for us to say thank you to our employees for all they do. William, the head grill chef,

and the entire Treetops staff do a great job. We look forward to hosting the event for many years to come.”• Dave Bear, President, JB Tool, Die, & Engineering Co., Inc.
