Form Fill & Seal Bagging

Vertical Form Fill & Seal (Flat Film)

For more than a decade Kockums Bulk Systems has represented Italian company B&C who engineers and manufactures automatic Form Fill & Seal Machines (FFS) for making & filling plastic bags. The three basic machines cover a wide range of bag sizes; and there is a large baling machine.

Bags 5-50kg

Rate up to 60 bpm

Minimal moving parts, low maintenance

Easy access for clean down

Fully guarded in accordance with Australian safety standards

When combined with one of our automatic palletisers it is the ideal fully automatic bag filling, palletising and wrapping system

BAGGING MACHINES

Bagging & Baling

Baling Machine

The Baling machine is the largest in the range of the B&C automatic form fill and seal bagging machines. Not only will it fill bales but the same unit can be utilised to perform conventional FFS bagging tasks such as potting mix, soils, sands, mulch, bark, & fertilizers.

As with the conventional FFS machines the bags start as a pre-printed flat roll of film loaded on the back of the filling machine. The film is simply fed through a series of rollers to the bale/bag forming tube. Multiple forming tubes can be hung on the machine for quick bag size changeover. Once the film is formed into the square bale shape, it is heat sealed at the back and bottom whilst the product is measured by weight or volume, and fed into the bag. At this point a hydraulic ram compresses the product into the bale prior to the top seal being applied.

Bales : 5-25kg

Bag Sizes : 10-80 litre (5kg to 50kg)

Baling Throughput : 3-8 compressed bales/minute

Changeover time : 15-20 minutes for different bale / bag sizes

Uninterrupted running time between film reel changes : 6-15 hours

Weight of plastic film reel = 500kg, changeover time 5 min

Handle making (small bags and small bales only)

Form Fill & Seal Bagging

Horizontal Form Fill and Seal Machine (Tubular Film)

The Payper ASSAC range of automatic bagging machines have been specifically designed to form fill and seal bags from a roll of PE tubular film. It is capable of filling bags from 5kg to 50kg, with or without gussets, and can reach filling rates of up to 2,200bph (subject to application details) when fed through a Payper high-speed net scale with acceleration pipe.

The Payper PFG-10 air packer is specially designed for bagging fine powders into valve bags. The PFG-10 is simple in design and robust in construction and therefore is a highly reliable and efficient machine. This air-packer is commonly used in the chemical, mining, construction industry, feeding and milling industries.
