Counterbalance Counterbalance trucks are the most common type of forklift used in the UK and are the workhorse of most material handling operations. Our counterbalance training covers:

• B1 – up to 5000kg • B2 – up to 15000kg • B3 – anything over 15000kg

Reach

Reach trucks are narrow aisle trucks designed specifically for racked pallet storage within warehouses. We are able to deliver this for:

• D1 – 3m-8m lift • D2 – over 8m lift

Pivot Steer

(also referred to as Bendi, Flexi, Swing Mast or Turret truck)

The Pivot Steer trucks are designed to work in very narrow aisles less than 6’. This truck resembles a standard forklift with the exception that there is an additional function to swing the mast to a 90-degree angle to either side by way of the truck being articulated. The Pivot Steer, much like the Reach truck, is most commonly used within warehouses with very narrow aisles and high racking systems. Categories:

MEWP – Mobile Boom (Cherry Picker)

The Mobile Boom, previously known as a Self-Propelled Boom, comes in 2 main varieties; Telescopic Booms and Articulating Booms. As well as variations in lift heights, both access platforms can be powered by Diesel, Gas (LPG), Electric, Bi-Fuel. These particular lift trucks can be 2 or 4 wheel drive and are ideal for rough terrain use. Categories:

Order Picker Order Picker trucks have the capacity to work at various heights and are categorised as low (LLOP), medium and high. Categories:

• E1 Medium Lift – Up to 2.5m • E2 High Lift – Over 2.5m

MEWP – Mobile Vertical (Scissor Lift) A type of lifting platform that can only move vertically and when fully extended can reach heights from 21 to 62 feet (6.4 to 18.8 meters) above ground depending on its size and purpose. It is drivable at full height with an extending platform. Categories:

Multidirectional

The Multidirectional forklift truck is a “one stop” solution for applications that require handling of

long or palletised loads on smooth or rough terrain. It is widely used within the timber and

steel industries. As this trucks name suggests, it has the capability of travelling forwards,

backwards & side to side with its triple rotating wheels.

Rough Terrain Telescopic Handler

The Rough Terrain Telescopic Handler is used typically used on farms, building merchants and building sites or for waste disposal or logging. This is due to the fact that it has several different attachments which can be attached for a wide variety of applications. Categories:

Industrial Terrain Telescopic Handler The Industrial Telescopic Handler is a versatile forklift truck that can save space in loading areas due to its ability to "reach" over obstacles; meaning it can load a vehicle from just one side. It can use a multitude of attachments including forks, clamps, buckets and shovels and adequate training is required for each attachment. Categories:

Vehicle Mounted Lift Truck (MOFFETT) Drivers with a lorry licence can expand their skills and job prospects with a truck mounted forklift certificate, known as a Moffett Mounty. The Transportable Lift Truck is attached to the rear of the truck, which you then hitch or un-hitch from the host vehicle and use the machine to load and unload cargo.

Vehicle Mounted Hydraulic Lorry Loader (HIAB)

Vehicle Mounted Hydraulic Lorry Loader is a piece of heavy machinery that uses hydraulic attachments to pick up and deposit material onto a long bed at the rear of the vehicle. A lorry loader takes on the tasks of moving large amounts of material to, from and around construction sites. Their usage saves a lot of time and also multiple trips, allowing labour to be focused on other areas of the

project.
