Please note that RRSP contributions are generally based on having received employment income inCanada during the previous year. If you have not received any Canadian employment income during theprevious year and you elect to start your RRSP be aware that BlackBerry will be reducing your tax atsource and you will be responsible for the tax owing when your first tax return is filed. It’s alwaysrecommended that you seek your own taxation advice as well.

You are responsible for knowing your registered savings contribution limit and for ensuring you do notexceed that limit. Your latest tax assessment should state your registered savings contribution limit. If youare unsure, contact your local office of Canada Revenue Agency at 1-800-959-8281.
