By investing in agriculture through agricultural development assistance, do we create an opportunity for people to find ways of providing food for themselves on their on terms, their own land, and their own time? 

These are the questions to ask when thinking about sustainable action (and making a difference).  Remember: the “answers” depend on the particular context under consideration.
