    Investigation - Brainstorm countries and their foods, write out problem,write brief, research the flavours from one country, research types of pasta, interviewa student from this country, research the reasons for that countries foods looking athistory and geography, create a salad that represents your own country,write outspecification, write out test and write out bibliography

    P lan - Create a plan including method of making (step by step), include time andresources. This must include a list on ingredients and quantities and equipment

    Create - create a fusion pasta combining your own countries flavours with aanother countries flavour. The dish must be enjoyed by both cultures, will haveflavours that compliment each other and not cover each other, will be cooked and

    presented to a good standard. The students will choose resources correctly and useequipment safely and correctly. The student will keep to the plan and write a process journal with photos

    Cutting an onion

    To avoid getting tears in your eyes????? soak the peeled onion in cold water for 5 minutes before

    chopping, don't lean over the cutting board, chew gum while cutting the onion, place a burning candle next to the cutting board, breath through your nose, or hold a heel of bread sticking out of your mouth, or aim a light fan over the cutting surface.

    Put your onions in a plastic bag and stick them in therefrigerator for about 20 minutes.Cutting is so much easier!
