Focus: Means More Than You Think What is Focus? Focus usally means keeping your attention on one thing, event, or objective. This is my definition, but what does the dictionary say. Focus definition #1: The center of interest or activity. Focus definition #2: The state or quality of having or producing clear visual definition. That's what we usually think that focus is...but it's really more than just that. There's more?' YES there is a whole other aspect to focus that helps you fully understand and utilize your foucs. So what else is there? Focus is also actively saying no to outside noise or distractions. Are you seing how this is a 2 part action? You might think that if you are focusing on something that it automatically implies you should keep your focus/attention off of distractions. It seems obvious, but can you remember a time that you decided you were going to focus and got distracted? Yeah, so have I. What does this mean? So what does this mean? How does it change the definition of focus? It changes the whole definition of focus to: keeping attention on one thing to the point of creating a vision while actively keeping distractions out. WHEW! It's a lot longer, but if you apply this definition of focus then it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to get off task. How do I utilize this?

How do I utilize this?

So what does this tell you? When trying to get any tasks done, you need to stay on task and take the precautions to stay on task. Precautions? Yes, for example: I used to be a "tabber". That's my word for a person that always keeps 5 or more tabs open at once. BIG NO NO. I actually still do this when casually surfing, but when I start working on my business I focus on it. I take precaution by closing my window, opening another one and starting fresh. I limit myself to 3 tabs at once and never for more than 10 minutes.

It's your job to take your focus seriously and taking the measures necissary to make sure that you succeed. Nobody is watching over yoru shoulder. It's just you, your discipline, and your focus.

Focus in online business

One way that I focus  on my online busienss is to make sure that I do income producing activites FIRST and then work on content. That's just my tip for anybody out there running an online business and needing to focus more.
