A successful Sourcing Solution Project

Partnership with the Ontario Colleges Finance Officers Joint Insurance Committee

Here was the challenge – all colleges require insurance. Colleges Ontario Finance Officers Joint Insurance Committee recognized that their collective buying power could help them reduce costs and achieve standardization across the college sector for insurance broker services. They initiated a partnership with OECM to help them harness the benefits from a collaborative sourcing project on Insurance Broker Services. The 20 colleges that participated realized savings of $500,000 plus improved services. Read more about this successful collaboration initiative in the Fall 2013 edition of College Administrator magazine.
