Data cohort: Flights departing May 9, 2015 – June 13, 2015 •  Observation period: 7 days ending May 2, 2015

Notes• Fare sales over the past week from Frontier kept things interesting over the past week of

observations. While JetBlue looks like it also had a big sale…

Data cohort: Flights departing May 9, 2015 – June 13, 2015 •  Observation period: 7 days ending May 2, 2015

Notes• It would appear that the majority of JetBlue could more accurately be defined as Fare Creep, at a

median drop of only $5.• Frontier’s drops had a more hearty $20 median change, which consumers of their $19/$29 fare sale

can likely attest to.

Data cohort: Flights departing May 9, 2015 – June 13, 2015 •  Observation period: 7 days ending May 2, 2015

Notes• New York JFK doesn’t show up often on these charts, as perennially high traffic volumes

make average fares stable. This time, we see JFK had a very volatile week, with 45% of fares rising, at a median $48, and 28% of fares dropping, at a median $35. Impressive.

Data cohort: Flights departing May 9, 2015 – June 13, 2015 •  Observation period: 7 days ending May 2, 2015

Notes• Flights to/from Baltimore and Las Vegas are also rare sights here. This past week, both

locations saw fare drops.

Data cohort: Flights departing May 9, 2015 – June 13, 2015 •  Observation period: 7 days ending May 2, 2015

Notes• Nothing too surprising to report on the magnitude of changes.

Data cohort: Flights departing May 9, 2015 – June 13, 2015 •  Observation period: 7 days ending May 2, 2015

Notes• The same route that saw a Charleston flight get re-priced downwards by $600 in last week’s

report now appears to have gone back up. Bear in mind that this is only a single fringe case.

• For those on the Dallas/ATL route, almost 30% of flights were rose by a median $217
