What is FLAT® ?

• FLAT (Fluid Locking & Adjustment Technology) is a levelling and stabilizing system.

•FLAT® is a simple , cost effective , elegant and enduring solution for anything that requires stability such as ladders, tables, consumer whitegoods, defence and industrial survey equipment.

• FLAT® has designed and developed a high performance, cost-effective solution that ensures a level and stable platform for hospitality table bases.

Who is FLAT® ?

• FLAT® is a technology company currently based in Sydney Australia.

•The company was founded by Tony Pike who invented the technology.

•FLAT® now has a sophisticated Board of investors to help realize the full potential of the technology.

• FLAT® has designed and developed a high performance, cost-effective solution that ensures a level and stable platform for hospitality table bases.

•Hospitality table bases are the first of many products that will benefit from FLAT® technology; many more applications will follow.

An Elegant Solution- Flat Product ( Spider)

Put simply, FLAT® is a technology that allows levelling and stabilizing.

A series of interconnected actuators or feet communicate information about the surface conditions below via multi lumen tubes to the FLAT smart system resulting in constant stability, no matter how often it is moved.

BS 4875-5:2001 STRENGTH & STABILITYOF FURNITUREBS EN 1730:2000 TABLES – TEST METHOD FOR STRENGTH, DURABILITY & STABILITY

Internal Testing

• Flat has conducted a series of comparative tests with tables under 18kg load and fitted with competitive products

• Test #1 was to determine point at which any failure in product resulted from a repetitive process

• Test #2 measured impact of drag test on feet before failure.
