Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)

This Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course is recommended for nominated emergency first aiders

in workplaces with lower health and safety risks. It is ideal for smaller workplaces that present few health

and safety risks where a nominated or appointed person is required to take charge in the event of an illness

or accident.

This course complies with current UK and European resuscitation guidelines. We guarantee compliance,

quality and assurance that this course is fit for purpose and recognised by industry regulators.

First Aid at Work Refresher (FAWR)

Our First Aid at Work Refresher (FAWR) updates the first aid skills for people who need to renew their

statutory first aid at work certificate and whose existing certificate is still in date.

Who should attend? This First Aid at Work Refresher course is for people wishing to renew a valid first

aid at work certificate.

Please note: If you allow your certificate to expire. You will then have 28 days after the expiry date to

book onto this course or you will have to attend the First Aid at Work (3 day).

First Aid Annual Refresher Course

First Aid Annual Refresher Course is strongly recommended by the HSE for all qualified first aiders

whether it is the First Aid at Work Course or Emergency First Aid at Work Course you sat this course

should be in your diary every year.

It is seen that this will help qualified first-aiders maintain all their basic skills and keep up to date with any

changes to first aid procedures.

First Aid for Schools and Colleges

This course is for schools and colleges who have already met their statutory requirements in terms of

equipping their staff with either a Level 3 First at Work certificate or an Level 2 Emergency First Aid at

work certificate but who require staff to have additional cover for certain activities such as residential trips,

sporting activities and out of hours clubs etc.

It is also suitable for schools that have varying age ranges of children e.g. independent schools catering for

1-18 year olds and Middle schools catering for 9-13 year olds.

These staff may not necessarily require a full three day course but may need to have some focus spent on

elements of first aid that are specifically relevant to their working practice e.g. Sports teachers like to have

a greater understanding of head and skeletal injuries and asthma as these problems may occur during

sporting activities.

Please note: This course does not replace the need for the First Aid in the Workplace or Paediatric First

Aid training courses.

This Basic Life Support course is an annual mandatory course for clinical or non- clinical staff working for

Fire Safety for Fire Marshall & Warden

The Fire Safety for Fire Marshall and Warden is a qualification aimed at anyone involved in

The Care Certificate

The Care Certificate is a 3 day classroom based training programme for new and experienced

nursing and care staff planning to or already working within a health & social care setting. This induction

Moving and Handling of People

The Moving and Handling of People course is for staff who need to move or aid the movement of the

service users in their care. The training covers all aspects of correct & safe people handling including

lifting aids. Practical instruction will be included when the training is delivered on-site, allowing staff to

use of the actual equipment that the they will be working with from day to day.

Infection Control

Infection Control is mandatory and aimed at all staff working in a healthcare environment including

hospitals, residential and nursing homes, domiciliary care agencies, dental surgeries and GP Practices. All

healthcare professionals and workers have a duty of care to those in their care and to protect themselves.

This course will enable the students to state the responsibilities and obligations that should be performed

Safe Handling and Administration of Medication Level 1

& 2

The aim of this Safe Handling and Administration of Medication Level 1 & 2 course is to update or impart

medication knowledge in accordance with your organisations policies and procedures.
