• The country that we studied is Finland.• The capital of Finland is Helsinki.• The population is 5,200,000 people.• The country’s official languages are Finnish
and Swedish.
Geography
• Finland has several farmlands, plains and green hills.
• Finland has fertile and rich soil.• Finland has a humid climate like mild summers
and icy cold winters.

People
• Winter sports are very popular in Finland. They play hockey, skiing, and also water sports and hiking.
• In Finland they do a lot of the same jobs we do in America.
• They do a variety of jobs like forest work, farming and other industries like tourism.
Food
• Finns eat a lot of meat and fish, especially Reindeer Sausages.
• Potatoes are the most famous veggie in all of Finland.
• At home families make hearty soups, casseroles, and pies.
• They love to drink milk and are avid coffee drinkers.
