What is nonverbal communication?

Nonverbal Communication = Communication without words

Nonverbal communication is a process of communication through sending and receiving

wordless messages.

The communication in which the sender uses words to transmit the message to

the receiver is known as verbal communication.

The communication that takes place between sender and receiver with the use of signs is known as non-verbal

communication.

• Nonverbal communication describes the process of shared cues between people, which goes hand-in-hand with public speaking. • This can include eye contact, frequency of glances, blink rate,

gestures, facial expressions, postures, and more.• People are using around 35% verbal communication and 65%

nonverbal communication in daily life.

• More than voice or even words, nonverbal communication helps to create your image in others mind.

• You can express your emotions and feelings in front of others, which you are unable to express in words

There are two types of nonverbal communication:-

• Touch or Haptics is the characteristic of nonverbal communication and used when we come into physical contact with other people.
