MY FINAL IDEA

THE BASE OF MY IDEAMy digital media product will be entirely based around one individual actor who goes by the name of Jordan Thompson. Jordan is a new and upcoming actor who has only recently broken through on the acting scene. The star was recently featured in a low budget comedy/ action movie produced by , where he caught the attention of many high end producers and media companies due to his extraordinary performances. Due to feedback from my focus group I have made improvements to my idea such as focusing on just the one actor instead of my other idea which included a group. I also have matured the information as my audience is based at an older audience instead of a younger audience. Therefore I intend to hold an extended interview and photoshoot with the actor as I believe due to his recent popularity he will cause my product to be very popular with the target audience. The product that I will produce will be on the internet and will be interactive on multiple media platforms such as mobile phones and tablets etc so that it is available for the majority of my target audience if they have the correct appliances. A photo shoot will take place of the actor somewhere secluded and good enough to enables us to be creative. The photo shoot will also be somewhere cheap as I have a low budget. For example the photo shoot could take place in the media studio as long as I can find a suitable appointment to go and take the photos. The images that I will use will be included in the product and on separate pages and I will also include a couple of images from the film that [_______] featured in. The target audience for this product would be teenagers from 16/17 to young adults from the age of 22 upwards. The purpose of the product is to entertain and educate the audience as hopefully they will learn something about the actor. The primary audience will hopefully also enjoy and be entertained by the product.

LOCATIONS

The primary location that I intend to use in the making of my product will be one of the Haydon Media Studio. I feel that this location would be very suitable because it contains all of the correct equipment needed in order to complete the tasks and the room is very spacious so I would have no trouble in that aspect. I could also edit the product in this room at a different time. The only downside to possibly using the studio would be finding an available time where we can complete the photo shoot. Therefore the secondary location for the project would be just outside of St Marys building next to the field. This is a suitable location because we have a lot of space to complete tasks.
