Affinity Space: A community of at least two or more people, whether online or not, that share a

common interest and pursue that interest.

FIFA’s Affinity Space: A community of soccer fans that have a specific interest in soccer video

games and all the intricacies that come along with it. FIFA’s A.S., however, is only an online

community.

• Meant as a negative term, forum posters and players who are mic’d up in-game call opponents “n00bs” who constantly use the game’s highest ranked teams (Chelsea, Manchester United, Brazil, Real Madrid, etc.) or quit early.

• Beast (Beastly, Beast Mode)• The term “beast” can describe a litany of
