to be presenting this new collection.

head costume designer for Club Med
in Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Turks
and Caicos, Mexico Ixtapa and Cancun.
Wilber then went off to Vancouver
where he studied high end tailoring and
garment construction at Lasalle Collage.
While in school he showed at Vancouver
Fashion Week.
For SS16 Filthy Haanz re-interprets Cooper and Shoedsack’s 1933 King Kong into an
untamed yet sophisticated lifestyle collection for North American consumers.
Filthy Haanz’s King Kong kicks off the season with the first delivery called “Urban
Jungle,” expected to hit floors in February. Consumers can expect a sophisticated
street-wear collection featuring original and playful banana and palm leaf prints
across a full lifestyle collection including dresses, blouses and skirts for women
and joggers, button-ups, and jackets for men. Highlights include Acetate texturized
pieces, glass buttons, fringe, and window-cuts. Colorways for this delivery include
Midnight Black, Palm Green and Banana Yellow.
Starting in mid-May, Filthy Haanz will unveil the second delivery in its SS16 rendition
of King Kong called “Art-Deco.” This collection continues the story with a more
refined and elegant approach that includes dresses, pants, and blouses for women,
alongside dress pants, dress-shorts, dress shirts for men. Fabrics get refined too
and feature Silk Lame, Sequins, and Silk-Charmose. Highlights of “Art-Deco” include
evening gowns in original art-deco print, a jumpsuit for women, and blazers for men.
Colorways are focused on Midnight Black, and Metallic Gold and Silver.
Filthy Haanz’s King Kong goes from a playful urban jungle oasis to an elegant affair
that perfectly balances the brand’s attributes of untamed-sophisticated style. The
collection will be available at specialty boutiques across the continent and on
FilthyHaanz.com and will range in price from $79USD to $350USD.
