Groundhog’s Day is a day that Americans use to predict how long winter will be. Groundhogs are animals that make burrows and hibernate during winter. The tradition is that on February 2nd, the famous ground hog named Punxsutawney Phil, will come out of his burrow. If he sees his shadow and gets scared back inside his burrow, there are 6 more weeks of winter. If he doesn’t see his shadow, there will be an early spring. What happened this year?
